U.S. Customs holds the Importer of Record responsible that imported articles are correctly classified. Corning provides its approved Customs Brokers with a list of our products and their approved HTSUS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the U.S.) classifications. Be sure to identify one of these brokers as the "Notify Party" on the Commercial Invoice whenever Corning is the Importer of Record.

Suppliers are requested to reply using the DCT, which is an Excel file, formatted solely for the purpose of data transfer. The DCT is a comfortable and user-friendly tool.
